Rain and Snow then all Snow but it didn't even stick on the roads. It accumulated on the grass and on the car which was fine. It was only about 1/2 inch max and when it came down, it was beautiful and fluffy. But before I knew it, I got that magical call. Why it was Wade telling us the the school was closed!!!
Oh my goodness!!! You've got to be kidding me. The snow was not even sticking and all the other counties in the area were open or had a 2 hour delay. Now, I'm not one who is opposed to staying home but there was absolutely no reason for a "snow day" today. Thankfully the after school care program opened up at 11am so I took Cody there for some fun.
Turns out the snow completely stopped and the so called 1-3 inches or possibly 3-6 inches was just a mere 1/2 inch and all melted later that day when the sun came out shinning bright. So I guess in a way if I knew the day would have ended this way I might have taken a drive up north to go skiing but who knows what the weather would be like 1 1/2 hours up the road.
So I would classify today's snow day and a mega "LAME" snow! After snowzilla, nothing will compare. So if we don't get at least 12 inches, why bother snowing at all.
