Are you kidding?

Cody's school - 2 hour delay
My work - 2 hour delay
and a few minutes later...
Cody's school - closed

Oh brother, are you kidding me?  It's just raining out.  Ughh!
So that's the verdict from all the weather drama the forecasters were hyping up.  Yes, we got some freezing rain but by the time it was 8 am, the temps started to rise and the freezing rain turned to plain old rain.  It was nice to get a 2 hour delay for work.  But the 2 hour delay for Cody's elementary school turned to a school closing kind of frustrated me.  Not that I want children's safety put at risk but our county is very large.  I say the more populated areas can open school and the more rural areas can miss school.  But the problem is that the teachers don't all necessarily live near the schools so how do you account for that?

Well, just 2 more months and winter (cross my fingers) will be over!
